The Faraday Cup Award is a prize that is awarded for an outstanding contribution to the development of an innovative beam diagnostic instrument of proven workability. The prize is awarded only for devices with a demonstrated and published performance.
The Scientific Programme Committee of the IBIC conference acts as the selection Committee for the Faraday Cup Award and the announcement of the winner will be made at the conference, where the winner will also be given the opportunity to give a special award talk about their research.
