IBIC 2025 provides access to an Infra-Red Assistive Hearing System. If you have hearing loss, you can take out on loan a neck loop that works with the infra-red hearing system. The neck loop can be used in conjunction with hearing aids or to boost the sound via headphones.

The University of Liverpool welcomes delegates with assistance dogs. If you wish to bring an assistance dog onto campus, on the grounds of health and safety responsibilities to staff, students and visitors, the University will require evidence that a dog is formally registered with one of the assistance dog charities (e.g. hearing dogs for deaf people, guide dogs for the blind) including appropriate accreditation.
